The Altar Servers form a very important part of the church and every parish is enriched through their dedication and service. It is a very important responsibility and requires a sincere commitment. Duties and expectations are listed here.
All servers must be baptized Catholic students and in the last quarter of their fourth grade year or above and are willing and able to attend training sessions, and have a desire to serve the Lord and His people.

- All servers should be at the Church 15 minutes before Mass begins.
- All servers are to sign in when they serve, then check with the Deacon or Priest to see what needs to be done to prepare for Mass.
- All servers are expected to fulfill their assigned times to serve.
- All servers are expected to find their own replacement at Mass if they cannot make it for whatever reason.
- All servers are asked to dress appropriately (no flip-flops).
- All servers are asked to please hang up their albs and cinctures after Mass.
- All servers are asked to pay attention to the Priest and Deacon during Mass.
- All servers are asked to say and sing the appropriate responses during the Mass.
- All servers are asked to extinguish the candles after Mass and bring in the sacred vessels and cruets from the credence table.
