GIVING TUESDAY

Picture

What is Giving Tuesday?
The days following Thanksgiving seem to focus on the commercialism of the holiday season.  After giving thanks, we have Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and then Giving Tuesday.  This is a day to focus on generosity.

Typically, all of our incoming contributions are assessed by the Archdiocese and a portion is given to them to help serve the larger Church.  On Giving Tuesday, this assessment is waived thanks to the generosity of Archbishop Schnurr so 100% of your donation goes directly to our parishes.

Where is my money going?
Gifts received on Giving Tuesday will go toward the mission and maintenance needs of each parish.

How do we donate?
Step One:  On Tuesday, November 30th, come to this page.
All gifts must be processed online on November 30th.
Step Two:  Click the location (picture) you wish to make a gift to.
The giving pages will only be active on November 30th.
Step Three:  Input your payment information on the next screen. That's it!
You'll receive a donation receipt via email for tax purposes.

If you need assistance on November 30th, please call or stop in to the parish office between the hours of 8am and 5pm.  If you cannot make it in during these hours, please contact the office to make after hours arrangements.  We'll be more than happy to help you out.

                                       Mission Statement
The members of the Marion Catholic Community, given life through the Holy Spirit in Baptism, are called together as a community of faith to praise and worship God our Creator and to proclaim in word and deed the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

As members of the Body of Christ we strive to serve all to provide an atmosphere of hospitality which enables all to respond fully to the life-long challenge "to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
