SON MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Picture

SON Ministries Volunteering
Matthew 25:35 reminds us that we will be judged by how much we have loved. Jesus says, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me."

MCC FEEDING MINISTRY
The Feeding Ministry of the Marion Catholic Community offers parishioners the opportunity to fulfill their Baptismal commitment by helping at two local outreach locations; C.A.L.L. Cafe in Celina and R.O.C. in St. Mary's. Our Feeding Ministry began this year with only a few volunteers, but has grown to over 50 people who have cooked, served, or donated food.  It is a fulfilling experience, initiated by God to serve those less fortunate and homeless people of our area. Volunteers are always welcome, as are food donations.

                                       Mission Statement
The members of the Marion Catholic Community, given life through the Holy Spirit in Baptism, are called together as a community of faith to praise and worship God our Creator and to proclaim in word and deed the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

As members of the Body of Christ we strive to serve all to provide an atmosphere of hospitality which enables all to respond fully to the life-long challenge "to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
